Credibility — and whether or not a person has it — determines who you trust for guidance and what information you use to make decisions. The four components of credibility are being:
- Known.
- Likeable.
- Helpful.
- Trustworthy.
Credibility is gained (or lost) by what a person says, how they say it, what they do, and what others say about them.
This onlince-lecture’s topic is credibility and how it is viewed in 2024 for HR, marketing, and learning and development (L&D). It will also address credible leadership and using data analytics to get buy-in for credible learning solutions.
Speakers:
Rita Sookrit, Learning and Development Leader. Rita Sookrit is a globally experienced learning and development (L&D) leader who has been in L&D for more than two decades building capacity, facilitating engagement, and achieving measurable business results that matter. She is skilled in aligning business goals with L&D strategy. Rita implements innovative solutions using technology, tools, and frameworks. She has worked in many industries including government, professional services, not-for-profit, chemical, maritime, and oil & gas. Most of Rita’s career has been in leadership roles with clients in Oceania, Europe, Africa, Asia, and at home in Canada.
Danielle Wallace, Chief Learning Strategist. Danielle Wallace is the Chief Learning Strategist at Beyond the Sky: Custom Learning. Formerly, as a marketing leader with Procter & Gamble and PepsiCo, she excelled at implementing strategic marketing principles. She now applies this expertise to her learning and development strategies. Danielle is a sought-after speaker at global conferences and her thought leadership is found in numerous industry magazines and publications. Her podcast, “You in 2042: The Future of Work,” is available on all podcast platforms and on her AI+L&D Community of Practice.
