About the event
We are delighted to invite you to a virtual seminar that will shed light on the economic impact of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine on the private sector and its resilient adaptation strategies. The virtual seminar, organized by the European Business Association (EBA), Global Business for Ukraine (GB4U), the World Bank, Kyiv School of Economics (KSE), and in collaboration with the Ministry of Economy, aims to provide a comprehensive analysis of the unfolding situation and the private sector’s resilience and adaptation strategies.
During this seminar, policy experts and researchers from the World Bank, KSE, and EBA will present in-depth research results on the impact of the invasion on the private sector. We will also discuss how timely and objective monitoring of the economic impact of the war can help inform the government’s stance and initiatives in supporting businesses, as well as explore the strategies and responses adopted by the private sector.
The primary objective of this seminar is to facilitate an informed dialogue among industry leaders, policymakers, and stakeholders, enabling a better understanding of the current scenario and providing a platform to discuss the way forward.
