For decades, globalization brought unparalleled benefits – global supply chains, increased efficiency, market expansion, and product innovation. But the world is shifting.


Today’s geopolitical transformations signal a move toward a multipolar economy. The Russia’s full-scale military invasion of Ukraine has accelerated this shift, adding complexity and volatility to the global business landscape.


Against this backdrop, business leaders are increasingly asking: How can we monitor geopolitical risks and build strategies to navigate them effectively?


To address this pressing question, the University of Zurich, together with the European Business Association and Global Business for Ukraine, is hosting an invitation-only, full-day workshop on May 22 at 09:00.


Businesses and scholars will present the current state of geopolitics as it relates to Ukraine, introduce tools and resources for companies to track emerging risks, and outline strategies for navigating the situation.
