About the event

Since 2014, Ukraine has been fighting for its future. It’s been a long way, but there are still open questions about the ending of the war and future events. Michael McFaul, former US Ambassador to russia and a leading expert on russia, American foreign policy, and democratic development worldwide, will share his insights on possible scenarios for further developments.

During the discussion, topics such as the anticipated timeframe, necessary conditions for ending the war, the role of international partners in assisting Ukraine towards victory, as well as forecasts and assumptions regarding potential future developments in the region will be examined.

The meeting is scheduled for August 3 at 19:00 Kyiv time via Zoom. The link to the online meeting will be available after registration.

Speaker:

Michael McFaul, a leading expert on russia, American foreign policy, and democratic development around the world. A former U.S. ambassador to russia, McFaul is currently a professor of political science at Stanford University, the director of Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies and the Peter and Helen Bing Senior Fellow at the Hoover Institution.
