Agenzia Nova: Derevyanko (EBA) to Nova: Italy at the forefront in Ukraine, tools needed to build business confidence

In an interview with Agenzia Nova, Anna Derevyanko, Executive Director of the European Business Association, praised Italy’s strong support for Ukraine and emphasized the need for greater backing of Italian companies investing there. She highlighted challenges such as security risks and regulatory uncertainty, calling for public guarantees and “de-risking” tools to encourage investment.

Derevyanko noted that, despite the war, many Ukrainian businesses continue operating and stressed the importance of providing accurate information to dispel misconceptions. Key growth sectors include defense, agriculture, construction, and infrastructure.
