Atlantic Council: Wartime Ukraine Must Translate International Attention into Investment

In their article “Wartime Ukraine Must Translate International Attention into Investment” for the Atlantic Council, Viktor Liakh, CEO of the East Europe Foundation, and Anna Derevyanko, Executive Director of the European Business Association and CEO of Global Business for Ukraine, urge the international community to move from expressions of support to concrete investment in Ukraine.

Despite growing global interest, actual private sector engagement remains limited. The authors highlight strong performance in sectors such as defense tech, agriculture, logistics, and construction, and call for strategic investment, de-risking tools, and a transparent business environment.
