The European Commission organized a series of workshops on the sidelines of the ReBuild Ukraine conference, focusing on the practical aspects of doing business in Ukraine.
During the workshops, Anna Derevyanko, CEO and Co-Founder of Global Business for Ukraine, Executive Director of the European Business Association, shared her assessment of the business climate and the experience of member companies operating on the Ukrainian market.
At the meetings organized by DG GROW and DG ENEST, Anna emphasized that the Ukrainian market, especially given the wartime context, has certain specific features that potential investors should take into account.
She provided practical insights into regulatory barriers and advice on how to overcome them. In addition, she spoke about the labour market situation and how companies are adapting to workforce shortages, including upskilling programmes and more active engagement of women, young and older professionals.
The GB4U sincerely thanks the European Commission for organizing these important events, which helped potential investors better understand the conditions of doing business in Ukraine and gain a deeper understanding of the market.
