GB4U leadership and French Special Envoy discussed Ukraine’s reconstruction

GB4U CEO and Co-Founder and EBA Executive Director Anna Derevyanko held a brief meeting with Muriel Lacoue-Labarthe, the newly appointed Special Envoy of the President of the French Republic for Ukraine’s Relief and Reconstruction.

During the meeting, Anna and Muriel discussed Ukraine’s immediate needs as well as the strategic direction of the country’s reconstruction process. Anna emphasized the importance of attracting French businesses to the Ukrainian market, particularly in the context of reconstruction efforts, even before the war ends. She also provided an overview of the current business climate in Ukraine, the key challenges companies are facing, and the types of international support that would be most valuable for the private sector.

The parties agreed to maintain regular communication and coordinate efforts to facilitate the entry of French businesses into Ukraine and their active participation in the country’s recovery.
