Pre-WEF workshop with the University of Zurich

On January 19, ahead of WEF, Global Business for Ukraine together with the European Business Association and the University of Zurich held a workshop ‘Geopolitical Scenarios for Corporate Leaders in Ukraine’.

The event has brought together business leaders operating in Ukraine with researchers working on geopolitical risks for an action-oriented workshop. The meeting was joined by Jacques Gerber, Federal Council Delegate for Ukraine.

It featured presentations by GB4U Cofounder and the EBA Executive Director Anna Derevyanko and researchers, followed by an interactive session in which business participants thought through different scenarios to exchange, critique, and develop their strategies.

Such scenario planning helps business leaders to surface the risks that matter and build them into strategy.

The evening before the event, participants gathered for an informal dinner to connect and exchange preliminary ideas in a relaxed atmosphere.
